SNOW WHITE

DAY 86 WEB_-8Day 86 (March 27, 2014) – Seattle, WA

Have you every watched flower petals gently fall from a Cherry Blossom tree? In some places, the slightest spring breeze brings a snow fall of pink and white. Snowbanks of petals gather beneath the trees as petals drift and dance in the wind. Every time I see a Cherry Blossom trees it reminds of me of my time living in Japan.   I’m taken back to days when I felt at peace in a foreign land and at peace with myself. The falling petals had a calming effect on me then and they still do today.

I had to fly across the country to find spring and I’m happy it welcomed me with a one last snow fall.
